Lorien Mount Airy is looking to hire a Licensed Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join their team. The facility offers a full continuum of care, including Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing & Sub-Acute Rehab, and Ventilator Care with on-site respiratory therapists. Requirements
- Licensed Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
- Comply with all state licensing and certification requirements
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations
- Accurately document medication administration and report any errors, refusals, or adverse reactions immediately
- Monitor residents for side effects, changes in condition, and medication effectiveness
- Provide direct care support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications
- Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, residents, and families regarding resident care
- Support the interdisciplinary care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care
- Comply with all state licensing and certification requirements
