About The Position
IQVIA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support clinical trials through in-home visits with patients in the Midlothian, Virginia area. The role involves local travel and helping collect samples and data to evaluate the safety and efficacy of investigational medications. Visits may include blood draws, vital signs, urine tests, medication administration, subcutaneous injections, and labeling and shipping samples. The nurse documents adverse events and completes reports, reviews adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs), and conducts mental health reviews. The position is per diem, with flexible scheduling for morning or early afternoon visits, and offers supplemental income and hands-on exposure to clinical research. Regional travel may be up to 90 miles. The potential base pay range is $50.00–$60.00 per hour; actual pay may vary based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Depending on the position offered, incentive compensation and benefits may also be available. The position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where the nurse works.
- Current BLS certification.
- Recent experience with blood draws.
- Comfort using basic software programs.
- Flexible availability and ability to travel regionally up to 90 miles.
- Reliable transportation, internet access, and a mobile phone.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home visits with clinical trial patients.
- Collect samples and data to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new medications.
- Draw blood, take vital signs, and conduct urine tests as needed.
- Administer medication, including via subcutaneous injection, if required.
- Label and ship samples.
- Document adverse events and complete reports accurately and on time.
- Review adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).
- Conduct mental health (MH) reviews.
