About The Position

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support clinical trials through in-home patient visits in the Midlothian, Virginia area. The role involves local travel to patients’ homes and offers flexible scheduling, with morning or early-afternoon visits. It is a per-diem opportunity suited to nurses seeking flexible work or supplemental income and exposure to clinical research. The position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state where the nurse works.
• BLS certification.
• Recent experience with blood draws.
• Comfort using basic software programs.
• Flexible availability and ability to travel regionally, up to 90 miles.
• Reliable transportation, internet access, and a mobile phone.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home visits with clinical trial patients.
• Collect samples and data to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new medications.
• Draw blood, take vital signs, and conduct urine tests as needed.
• Administer medication when required, including drug administration via subcutaneous injections.
• Label and ship samples.
• Document adverse events and complete reports accurately and on time.
• Review adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs), and conduct mental health (MH) reviews.
