About The Position

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support clinical trials through in-home patient visits in the Metairie, Louisiana area. The role involves collecting samples and patient data to help evaluate the safety and efficacy of medications, conducting trial-related clinical activities, and documenting findings. Visits are local and may require regional travel of up to 90 miles. Scheduling is flexible, with visits in the morning or early afternoon. The role is per diem and may suit nurses seeking supplemental income or clinical research experience.

The potential base pay range is $50.00–$60.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on job-related qualifications, location, and schedule. Depending on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and other compensation or benefits may also be available. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state where the nurse practices.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent experience with blood draws or phlebotomy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Comfort using technology, including electronic charting and basic software applications.
• Flexible availability and ability to travel regionally up to 90 miles.
• Reliable transportation, internet access, and a mobile phone.

• Experience with vaccine administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home visits with clinical trial patients.
• Collect samples and data to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new medications.
• Draw blood, take vital signs, and conduct urine tests.
• Administer medications and vaccines as required.
• Label and ship biological samples.
• Conduct visits involving drug administration via subcutaneous injections.
• Document adverse events and complete reports accurately and on time.
• Review and document adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs), and conduct mental health (MH) reviews.
