About The Position

IQVIA is seeking a Registered Nurse to support clinical trials through in-home patient visits in Middletown, Ohio and the surrounding region. The position involves local travel to patients’ homes and offers flexible scheduling, with visits generally available in the morning or early afternoon. Nurses support clinical trial activities by collecting patient samples and data used to evaluate the safety and efficacy of medications, and by completing accurate, timely documentation. This per-diem opportunity may suit nurses seeking flexible work or supplemental income and provides hands-on exposure to clinical research. The role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification.
• Recent experience with blood draws.
• Experience with investigational medicinal product (IMP) reconstitution and processing multiple blood draws in a clinical or research setting.
• Comfort using basic software programs.
• Flexible availability and ability to travel regionally, up to 90 miles.
• Reliable transportation, internet access, and a mobile phone.

• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home visits with clinical trial patients.
• Collect samples and data to evaluate the safety and efficacy of medications.
• Draw blood, take vital signs, and conduct urine tests.
• Administer medication when required, including medications delivered by subcutaneous injection.
• Label and ship samples.
• Document adverse events and complete reports accurately and on time.
• Review adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs), and conduct mental health (MH) reviews.
