About The Position

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with critical HR functions, including recruitment and selection, employee relations/EEOC, HR compliance, classification and compensation management, benefit program administration, and federal and state employment laws.
• Management and supervision experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience building trusted, collaborative relationships with senior leaders, clinicians, operations, finance, and external stakeholders.
• Experience resolving sensitive or complex employee relations, workforce, and organizational issues requiring discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
• Ability to interpret HR data and implement data-driven solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Prior Human Resources experience working for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision of the Human Resources and Staff Development departments.
• Lead and oversee recruitment and selection, employee relations, HR compliance, classification and compensation, and benefit program administration.
• Serve on the Executive Leadership Team and provide HR perspective and guidance on business issues.
• Lead HR initiatives requiring coordination across multiple departments.
• Interpret HR data and implement data-driven solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
