About The Position
Are you a safety-focused CDL driver looking for steady hours, local routes, and a company that invests in its people? Nations Roof is looking for a dependable CDL Driver to join our team and help deliver roofing and construction materials safely and efficiently. If you take pride in your driving record, value teamwork, and want consistent, year-round work — we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Class A CDL (Required)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of safe driving and load securement practices
- Understanding of DOT regulations (as applicable)
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must meet company insurability standards and maintain proper licensing and endorsements
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical equipment aptitude is a plus
- Previous commercial driving or construction experience preferred
- if certified
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company straight trucks and trailers
- Deliver an pick up construction dump trailers to designated jobsites
- Load, unload, and properly secure materials for safe transport
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain vehicle inspection logs
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready vehicle
- Pull and stage customer and jobsite orders
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (if certified)
- Maintain organized inventory and warehouse cleanliness
- Follow proper safety procedures on jobsites and in the warehouse
- Support team members to ensure efficient daily operations
