About The Position

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Strong interest and passion for cardiac care
• A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth
• Must live within 30 minutes of St. Luke's Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
