About The Position
The Busser is responsible for preparing dining areas before guests are seated, setting tables, serving water and bread baskets, refilling beverages, and removing dirty utensils. They will also clean and reset tables after guests leave, maintain health and safety regulations, and assist servers and hosts as needed. The role requires maintaining restaurant areas in a neat and orderly condition, constantly checking tables for the condition of plates, empty glasses, and cleanliness. Additionally, the Busser will sweep and/or mop all restaurant areas at the end of every shift, including removing, cleaning, and replacing matting.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal in working with high-profile clients and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Flexible to work PM shifts, weekends and holidays
- Standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying
- Bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years' experience in high volume, luxury lounge or restaurant
Responsibilities

- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Assist servers and hosts when necessary
- Maintain the restaurant areas in a neat and orderly condition at all times
- Assist servers in constantly checking tables for condition of plates, empty glasses, cleanliness, etc.
- Sweep and/or mop all restaurant areas at the end of every shift, removing, cleaning and replacing matting each time.
