About The Position
AV Specialists has been serving the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years, specializing in luxury residential automation and high-performance audio/video. We work in high-end homes and commercial spaces with brands like Control4, Lutron, Savant, Sonus Faber, McIntosh, and B&W. We finish every job. We answer the phone. We don't cut corners. We are growing and have more work than we can handle, and we are building this business for the long term. This is a long-term position, not a pit stop. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that's been doing this the right way since 1995 and isn't slowing down.
Requirements
- 3–4+ years of hands-on experience with Control4, Savant, Lutron, or comparable platforms
- Solid low-voltage fundamentals — structured wiring, rack building, clean terminations
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and communicate clearly with homeowners
- Professional appearance
- A career mindset
Nice To Haves
- Commercial audio experience is a plus.
