About The Position
Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Associate to join their dynamic Assurance team. This role involves helping clients maximize their opportunities by accurately and skillfully performing audits, preparing audit work papers, and assembling trial balances. The position requires effective communication with clients and co-workers, fostering relationships, and occasional travel to client sites. Aprio is a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm with a significant U.S. and international presence, known for its strong culture and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 4 year bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
- Developed specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology
- Understanding and applying Excel skills
- Successfully using Case ware or other audit software
- Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Working effectively and personably within a team
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
- Licensed CPA preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately and skillfully performing audits
- Preparing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
- Utilizing time management to plan and schedule client engagements
- Assembling trial balances and compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented
- Effectively communicating the accuracy of financial statements and other financial information to clients and co-workers
- Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
- Traveling to some to client sites
