About The Position
We partner with leading employers to deliver high-quality, onsite child care that supports working families and creating opportunities for educators to do what they love (and feel valued while they’re doing it). Join the founding team to support a new employer-sponsored 24-hour onsite child care client center and help build the high-quality program children deserve while pursuing your own professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with young children and supporting their growth and development
- Experience in early childhood education or a related field (preferred but not required, depending on state guidelines)
- Meet or are eligible to meet state requirements for child care staff in a licensed program
- Willing to complete required background checks and pre-service training in accordance with state regulations
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, Alabama
- Must possess independent US work authorization
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Assist with implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum through play, exploration, and daily routines
- Help maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and ratio requirements
- Supervise children and support daily activities including meals, rest time, and transitions
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Support classroom organization, cleanliness, and documentation as required
- Step into classroom coverage as needed to maintain proper ratios
