About The Position
ZEISS is seeking a Medical Device Assembler I to perform assembly operations in a clean room. With some supervision, the assembler works from instructions and training to assemble parts, read some drawings, measure and cut fibers to specifications, use a microscope for certain operations, complete manufacturing documentation, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures. Duties may change and the description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fine motor skills.
- Attention to detail and quality standards.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and energy.
- Able to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of manufacturing assembly experience.
- Some experience with medical manufacturing products or similar products.
