About The Position
The Assembler I builds and tests basic products to specifications while meeting established quality guidelines. The role uses basic electronic measurement devices, manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures, and hand tools. Employees follow verbal and written instructions based on specification drawings and established procedures, and complete assigned jobs within established budgets. Most departments operate on a four-day, ten-hour schedule, Monday through Thursday, providing a three-day weekend.
Responsibilities
- Build and test basic products to specifications while meeting established quality guidelines.
- Use tools and fixtures to prevent damage or scrap of parts and production downtime.
- Complete assigned jobs per established budget.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from documented specification drawings and established procedures.
