About The Position

LayerZero Power Systems LLC is a globally recognized provider of power distribution solutions for critical industries, with a primary focus on data centers. The Wiring Assembler binds wires into harnesses for electrical systems and equipment, following wiring schemes and using sleeves, cable lacing, cable ties, and electrical conduits. The role includes inspecting and measuring parts and performing quality control tests. This is an on-site position in Aurora, Ohio, with a starting wage of $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Work experience with electronics or wiring.
• Ability to read and follow simple assembly diagrams and procedures.
• Ability to use simple electronic test tools, such as continuity testers and cable testers.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
• Good eyesight and ability to work with small parts and tools.
• Attention to detail and desire to produce very high-quality work.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent credentials.
• Ability to use fingers to grasp, move, and assemble very small objects.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, assemble, and inspect parts.

Nice To Haves

• Work experience assembling electronic modules.
• Work experience assembling electronic wire harnesses.
• Basic understanding of electricity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble kits of small parts into electronic assemblies using instructions and hand tools.
• Complete final assembly of wire harnesses from machine-made sub-assemblies according to standard procedures.
• Sort, label, and package electronic assemblies and harnesses.
• Take ownership of the quality of work output.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Care for, lubricate, and clean hand tools.
• Provide supervisors with feedback to help improve quality and efficiency.
• Inspect and measure parts and conduct quality control tests.
