About The Position

Wiring Assemblers wire and assemble PC boards using outline and wiring drawings. They also assemble units and panels according to established documentation and the parts provided in the shop order. Gables Engineering Inc. is a vertically integrated manufacturer of custom avionics controls and related products, working with operators to identify solutions for their fleets and to support a rapid design-to-production cycle with control over quality and delivery.

Requirements

• Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency with a soldering iron.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
• Basic English language skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of assembly-related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Assembly-related experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm that parts detailed on the drawing match the shop order and are included in the kit provided by the stock room.
• Install switches and connectors on PC boards.
• Lace wires to the appropriate switches and connectors as indicated in established documentation.
• Solder wires in place as required.
• Complete PC board assembly for inspection and testing.
• Assemble units and panels using established documentation and all parts provided in the shop order.
