Assembler I - Fiberglass Roller
About The Position
Goldshield, part of Terex Corporation, manufactures fiberglass parts at its facility in Decatur, Indiana, for customers and industries including Fleetwood, boats, emergency vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks. The Assembler I - Fiberglass Roller removes air from fiberglass laminate using a roller to support part strength and quality, works at assigned chop stations, and helps ensure fiberglass, resin, and catalyst mixtures are properly worked into each part. The role also supports production flow and teammates while following safety rules and keeping the work area clean and organized. The position is based at 2004 Patterson Street, Decatur, Indiana. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch; overtime may be needed. Requirements
- Ability to complete the required training period and Goldshield training expectations.
- Ability to roll at assigned chop stations while meeting acceptable quality standards.
- Ability to maintain attendance expectations and follow directions.
- Successful completion of drug and background screening.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role as outlined in the worksteps process.
- Ability to work around constant noise levels of approximately 80 dB, near moving molds, and in occasional extreme heat up to 110 degrees.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred one year of experience in fiberglass, rolling, lamination, production, or manufacturing.
- Preferred high school diploma or GED.
