About The Position

Pro Mach's Brenton division is seeking an Electrical Assembler to contribute to the success of the company by providing assembly support for Orion's products. This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor, is based in our Alexandria, MN facility and is for our first shift. Brenton, based in Alexandria, MN, is a leading manufacturer of case packers, palletizers, shrink-wrapping machines and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. Brenton is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20,000 customers worldwide. Through multiple brands, Pro Mach provides product packaging and processing equipment, PMMI-certified training, installation, parts, and service for primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, end-of-line packaging, and identification and tracking.

Requirements

  • Well versed in UL/CE and NEMA ratings
  • Excellent Mechanical / Electrical capability or capacity to learn.
  • Solid mechanical problem-solving skills.
  • Potential to be a motivator / leader.
  • Professional communication, attitude and image.
  • Educator - good verbal and written presentation, organized, good planner, good interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year technical college degree with 2-4 years of Electrical Assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical wiring and assembly operations on all product lines of electrical assemblies and sub assemblies.
  • Can read, understand and interpret Electrical Schematics/Prints.
  • Can wire all product line with no supervision.
  • Required to independently lead a small team on multiple product lines.
  • Must be able to wire all panel types for machine assembly.
  • Must be proactive on monitoring the machine project schedule for assembly.
  • Work with Project Manager and Assembly Lead/Manager while monitoring hours and resources.
  • Ensure that work area is clean, safe and orderly.
  • Take proper care of shop tools and make sure they are returned daily to their appropriate place.
  • Ensure that Assembly Standards are met, including inspection of panels and wiring for neatness and conformance to requirements and standards.
  • Work closely with mechanical assemblers, engineering teams and project managers for the duration of machine projects.
  • Take a Lead role in the World Class Checkout Process.
  • Provide technical input for machine operator manuals and training manuals.
  • Available for travel for installation and servicing of machines as needed.
