About The Position
To work on all aspects of removals, collections, deliveries and installations of personal effects, art and antiques under the management of immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma / GED required
- Three years of experience in the art handling industry; packing, handling and installing on a local and interstate basis
- Three years of logistical, warehousing and moving experience
- Understanding inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling art and antiquities from collection through to installation
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Impeccable communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reporting
- Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable in a results-driven workplace
- Experience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies and other necessary logistics equipment
- Ability to safely lift 70 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight on a daily basis without damage to object or person, including the ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and reach overhead
