About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Communication and relationship skills
• Visual and hearing acuity
• Highly organized and self-directed
• Knowledge of anesthesia machines and accessory equipment
• Knowledge of ordering and maintaining inventory with special eye toward fiscal responsibility
• Basic patient care associate knowledge, appropriate to all age groups
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
• Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn new methods, procedures and techniques resulting from departmental or organization change
• Adapts quickly and easily to change and adjusted behavior and approach to work when necessary to achieve goals
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Less than 1 (one) year health care experience

Nice To Haves

• Certification as A.T.T.
• ACLS
• One (1) year Anesthesia Technician experience

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to the CRNA and/or Anesthesiologist.
• Facilitates the delivery of safe and efficient anesthesia.
• Delivers care to patients of all ages.
• Improves the performance of clinical activities during selected periods of the Perioperative experience.
• Orders and maintains inventory with special attention to fiscal responsibility.
• Demonstrates teamwork and communicates professionally with all members of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn new methods, procedures, and techniques.
• Adapts quickly and easily to change and adjusts behavior and approach to work when necessary to achieve goals.
