About The Position

Tanner Health is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join West Georgia Anesthesia Associates, a hospital-employed practice serving patients throughout west Georgia and east Alabama. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position where you will join an established team of 14 anesthesiologists and approximately 34 CRNAs. The practice offers a broad surgical case mix, including an established cardiovascular program with a dedicated cardiothoracic anesthesia team, as well as neurosurgery. The practice locations are Tanner Medical Center – Carrollton & Tanner Medical Center – Villa Rica.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure and hospital privileges
• Strong clinical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services to patients.
• Participate in a call schedule averaging 5-6 days per month.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
• Work with a broad surgical case mix, including cardiovascular and neurosurgery.
• Provide patient-centered care.
