About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree
• BS required; PhD preferred
• Biomedical workforce experience required
• Able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of relevant NIH policies and award terms and conditions
• Strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail
• Extremely reliable and adaptable with strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities with minimum supervision
• Demonstrates good judgment, particularly when managing confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be professional, clear, and accurate both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of NIH, its organization, and culture preferred
• Knowledge of NIH organizational travel (CGE) and personnel (FPS) systems is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Planning, developing, and delivering educational programs in collaboration with OITE staff, including curriculum design, speaker coordination, and event execution
• Supporting major OITE events (e.g., poster days, workshops, symposia)
• Preparing reports, analyzing participation data, and compiling feedback upon request
• Maintaining trainee and staff records
• Executing IRTA appointment and maintenance actions in the Fellow Personnel System (FPS)
• Coordinating with Administrative Officers to obtain required approvals
• Providing travel and logistical support, including GovTrip coordination and documentation
