About The Position
Our client is seeking an Accountant with Deltek Costpoint experience to support day-to-day accounting operations in a project-based government contracting environment. This role is ideal for someone with foundational GovCon experience who is looking to grow and deepen their Costpoint skillset.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–4 years of accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint required
- Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Prior GovCon or project-based accounting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger accounting
- Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts
- Support month-end close activities
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing in Deltek Costpoint
- Support project setup, cost tracking, and expense review
- Assist with audit documentation requests (DCAA / GAAP)
