About The Position
Our client is hiring a Senior Accountant to take ownership of core accounting functions within a Deltek Costpoint environment. This role partners closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller and plays a critical role in close, reporting, and audit support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Deltek Costpoint experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
Nice To Haves
- GovCon experience strongly preferred (FAR/DCAA exposure a plus)
- CPA preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain accuracy of financial data within Costpoint
- Support billing, revenue recognition, and project accounting
- Assist with DCAA and external audit requests
- Identify process improvements and system efficiencies
