About The Position

Firefighters Community Credit Union is hiring a full-time Teller for its Downtown Cleveland location. The Teller serves as a brand ambassador, building relationships with members and helping them meet immediate and future financial needs by providing information about financial products and services. The role processes member transactions accurately and recommends products and services that benefit members. The position pays $15.00–$16.00 per hour and is based at 2300 St Clair Ave NE, Cleveland, OH 44114.

Requirements

• At least six months of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.
• Working knowledge of regulations relating to the Credit Union.
• Good credit is important to the employer.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with members and provide information about financial products and services.
• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers between member accounts, and money orders.
• Balance the cash drawer.
• Recommend products and services that benefit members.
