About The Position

As a Teller at Arkansas Federal Credit Union, you serve as an advocate and financial expert who helps members achieve their financial goals. The primary role is to use a proven methodology to have meaningful conversations with members, understand their financial needs, and provide appropriate products at the right time. The position also involves building positive relationships and member trust, managing teller transactions, understanding the credit union’s products and services, and referring members and nonmembers to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.

Requirements

At least 7 months of related customer service experience.
At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Technological proficiency.
Knowledge of financial industry models and products.
Friendly, conversational, and trustworthy demeanor.
Passion for and sincere concern for others.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and earn member trust to retain long-term connections.
Efficiently manage teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Understand Arkansas Federal products and services to enhance the member experience.
Refer members and nonmembers to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.
Engage members in meaningful conversations to understand their financial needs and help them achieve their financial goals.
