About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the South Salem branch. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller processes transactions accurately while delivering a welcoming and reliable experience, and serves as a primary point of contact representing the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills, learns about customers’ needs, and introduces helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive and reliable branch experience by accurately processing transactions and engaging customers with care.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and direct them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Clarify customer needs and provide clear, simple solutions or next steps through effective communication and active listening.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
