About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transaction processing, and a welcoming, reliable service experience. Tellers represent the branch through attentive service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools. The role involves identifying opportunities to support customers and connecting them with a banker for detailed product conversations. Tellers work with branch teammates to keep daily operations running smoothly and provide a consistent customer experience. The position offers exposure to retail banking and potential for long-term career growth through Wells Fargo training, coaching, and team-based culture.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive and reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Clarify customer needs and provide clear, simple solutions or next steps through effective communication and active listening.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
