About The Position

As a part-time Teller in PNC's Retail Banking organization, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, you will provide a customer experience focused on financial wellbeing and customer loyalty. The role involves handling customer interactions and transactions, educating customers about financial options and technology, identifying banking needs, and referring customers to suitable products or branch staff. This is an in-office position. PNC does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this role.

Requirements

No prior experience is required.
No degree, diploma, or significant experience or product knowledge is typically required to perform the primary duties.
A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, customer service, effective communication, problem-solving, digital awareness, fraud detection and prevention, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Deliver a customer experience aimed at improving customers' financial wellbeing and loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
Process a variety of customer interactions.
Educate customers about alternatives for financial interactions and options for managing transactions through technology, tools, and resources.
Identify banking opportunities and make appropriate referrals to branch staff.
Engage with customers in the lobby and position PNC products to meet their needs.
Use product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems.
Follow policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment within established limits.
Complete teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions efficiently and accurately.
Assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
