About The Position

PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Teller for its Boston branch in Lubbock. The Teller processes a variety of financial transactions while providing courteous, professional, and accurate customer service. The role also supports branch operations, cash handling, document processing, and security procedures. Duties may change at the Company's discretion and are not limited to those listed.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Six months of previous cash, sales, and/or customer service experience.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with basic calculator skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office products, as well as custom applications and systems.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional customer service while accurately processing transactions.
Process checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and change orders.
Inform customers about bank products and services and refer them to appropriate staff.
Perform scheduled branch opening and closing duties in accordance with security and dual-control requirements.
Maintain and balance the daily cash drawer and other receipts; balance the ATM when required; and assist with vault, TCD, and/or TCR balancing.
Verify customer signatures, account ownership, and identification.
Use the banking system to obtain account numbers and balances and research customer transaction questions.
Wrap and bag coin, verify currency, mix new currency, and turn in mutilated currency.
Process mail, night-drop, and ATM deposits.
Scan and upload documents to the appropriate file or department.
Perform other duties as required.
