The Teller I accurately processes financial transactions and provides information to members in the lobby and/or by telephone. The role offers friendly, helpful, and confidential assistance while aiming to provide a positive experience and minimize wait times. The Teller I creates loyal members by delivering Rogue's Service Promises, exhibiting Rogue Service Standards, and providing unsurpassed member service.

Requirements

• Bilingual ability is required.
• One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to multitask and operate 10-key calculators.
• Good computer, keyboarding, and cash-handling skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, transfers, disputes, statement and check copies, and safe deposit box transactions.
• Respond to member requests, problems, and complaints, or direct members to the appropriate person; take ownership of requests and follow through.
• Collaborate with and assist other departments and branches to maintain service across the credit union.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to meet members' needs and deepen their participation.
• Accurately maintain and balance the cash drawer and daily transactions, ATMs, vaults, cash and coin vaults, and dispense machines; complete branch-specific opening and closing duties.
• Proactively perform other duties as needed or assigned.
