About The Position

Sharon Bank is hiring a part-time Teller/Customer Service employee to provide customers with a high standard of service. The role processes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, and other teller transactions; opens new accounts; responds to customer inquiries; and maintains and settles a cash drawer. The employee also recommends and explains the bank’s products and services and is expected to understand bank policies, procedures, and regulations. The position is in person at an office, with a stated schedule of 18–20 hours per week. Pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Sharon Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

• Attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional image.
• Willingness to travel within the branch network.
• Aptitude for numbers and mathematics, and familiarity with PCs and keyboards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Two years of experience in either or both of the listed fields is required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of cash-handling experience (preferred).
• One year of banking experience (preferred).
• One year of customer-service experience (preferred).
