Part Time Teller/Customer Service
About The Position
The Part Time Teller/Customer Service role provides customers with a high standard of customer service. The position processes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, and other teller transactions; opens new accounts; responds to customer inquiries; and maintains and settles a cash drawer. The teller also recommends and educates customers about the bank’s products and services and maintains a thorough understanding of bank policies, procedures, and regulations. This is a part-time, in-person role in an office setting, expected to work 18–20 hours per week, with pay of $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Willingness to travel within the branch network is required. Requirements
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional image.
- Willingness to travel within the branch network.
- Aptitude for numbers and mathematics, and familiarity with PCs and keyboards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Two years of experience in either or both relevant fields is required.
- High school or equivalent education.
Nice To Haves
- One year of cash-handling experience preferred.
- One year of banking experience preferred.
- One year of customer-service experience preferred.
