About The Position

Kite Realty Group Trust (KRG), a real estate investment trust headquartered in Indianapolis, is seeking an Employee Experience/HR Intern for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. Working from KRG’s corporate office, the intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, develop skills related to the REIT industry and human resources, and interact with various business departments.

The Employee Experience Intern will support the team in meeting compliance standards, maintaining competitive total compensation and benefits packages, acquiring and onboarding new hires, and creating a positive employee experience. The internship provides exposure to multiple aspects of HR and the REIT business.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Interest in human resources, talent acquisition, and event planning.

Responsibilities

• Support the Employee Experience team in creating a positive experience for employees.
• Perform recruiting administrative tasks and gain exposure to KRG’s applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Coordinate career fairs and conduct cost analysis.
• Assist in creating and revising employee onboarding materials.
• Shadow benefits and compliance tasks.
• Help implement learning management system courses and required employee trainings.
• Audit and scan documents.
• Organize systems audits, create or refine safety plans, and research performance management resources.
