About The Position

Replika is hiring a hands-on Social Media Manager to own the stories and conversations across its social channels and online communities. The role combines setting social and community strategy with personally creating content, appearing on camera, publishing posts, engaging with users, working with creators, and bringing community feedback to the product team and CEO. The manager will work directly with the CEO and stay closely connected to product launches and other company developments. The primary channels are X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Discord, and Reddit; TikTok may be added later. The position is fully remote and requires the ability to work CET hours. Requirements

Comfortable on camera with demonstrated experience appearing as the face of content; this is a must.
Experience growing brand accounts on X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, with demonstrable audience and engagement results and ideally sign-ups or installs.
Experience managing online communities on Discord, Reddit, or similar platforms, including keeping a large community active, fair, and safe.
Broad experience across platforms; TikTok experience is welcome, but TikTok as the primary channel is not a fit for the role.
Ability to shoot, edit, and publish content quickly without a production team or multiple rounds of approval.
Good judgment in public communications, including knowing what is appropriate to post and how to distinguish a joke from a serious issue.
Ability to develop strategy while personally executing the work.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Experience with a consumer subscription app, ideally in AI or in products related to connection, relationships, or wellbeing.
Experience working with a founder or CEO on their personal social presence.
Experience guiding a community through a major product change while keeping it together.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day social activity on X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, including planning the calendar, posting, replying, and maintaining Replika’s voice.
Create content independently and on camera, including short videos, product walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes content, launches, and user stories; conceive, shoot, edit, and publish it.
Manage the Discord and Reddit communities, work with community moderators, answer questions, and help community members feel heard.
Identify user feedback, frustrations, and emerging issues and communicate them promptly to the product team and CEO.
Respond calmly and honestly to public incidents and escalate issues when appropriate.
Find and build relationships with creators discussing AI companions and develop successful organic content.
Build the CEO’s social presence alongside the brand’s by filming together, shaping posts, and developing shareable stories about the company’s work.
Track which posts, threads, and creators drive app activity, and adjust the plan based on results.
