About the position
Pave is seeking a Sales Manager for their New York City office to lead and scale their sales team. As one of the first sales managers, the role involves building the sales organization from the ground-up. The primary focus includes mastering the product, developing trust with the team, and building a world-class training and development program. The ideal candidate should have sales management experience, expertise in Mid-Market sales cycles, and the ability to break down complex sales concepts. The compensation package includes a base salary, OTE, equity, and various benefits.
Responsibilities
- Help build the sales organization from the ground-up
- Master the product and develop trust with the team of Mid-Market and Enterprise reps
- Conduct pipeline reviews, forecasting, and 1:1s with the team
- Build a world-class training and development program for all team members
- Work closely with product to solve compensation problems
- Hire talented individuals and create a high-energy, team-first sales culture
- Represent the interests of the entire Pave NYC team and GTM team
- Bring 3+ years of Sales Management experience
- Experience selling or managing reps in a Mid-Market sales cycle with solid 5-6 figure contracts and 1-2 quarter deal cycles
- Possess top 1% EQ and ability to break down challenging sales concepts into actionable sales tactics for reps
- Nice-to-haves: Experience in HR Tech or FinTech, experience in growth stage SaaS
Requirements
- 3+ years of Sales Management experience
- Experience selling or managing reps in a Mid-Market sales cycle with solid 5-6 figure contracts and 1-2 quarter deal cycles
- Top 1% EQ and ability to break down challenging sales concepts into actionable sales tactics for reps
- Experience in HR Tech or FinTech (nice-to-have)
