About The Position

Public Storage is hiring Property Managers to work independently at multiple self-storage locations, spending time both indoors and outdoors. The role includes assessing customers’ storage needs and recommending solutions, including selling packing and moving supplies. Managers inspect storage units to confirm inventory and availability, audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and help customers stay current on payments through reminder and collection calls when required. The position also includes cleaning and daily maintenance of interior areas and exterior grounds.

Requirements

Experience in a customer-service-centered sales environment, such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or another service-based company.
Valid driver’s license.
Use of a personal vehicle to travel between work locations and/or conduct work-related business.
Ability to lift, move, or transport items weighing up to 35 pounds.
Ability to walk around facilities, climb stairs, and open large doors.

Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess customers’ storage needs and make recommendations, including selling packing and moving supplies.
