About the position

This job offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic company culture and help change the lifestyle of an entire generation. The role involves managing the interface between sales, finance, and supply chain to deliver a reliable forecast and shape the sales planning and forecasting process. It also includes creating training and capability roadmaps and supporting the digitalization of the sales planning process. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales and demand planning functions, preferably in the food, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods industries, and a good understanding of the FMCG market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the interface between sales, finance, supply chain, and all other demand functions to deliver one reliable forecast.
  • Partial ownership of the Sales & Operations Planning process, including co-creating a stable process, leading participants towards a clear outcome, and ensuring cross-functional alignment on the demand plan.
  • Shape the way sales planning and forecasting are approached, including creating new and efficient ways of working, shaping templates, introducing risk and ops planning, and conducting key metrics reviews.
  • Help create training and capability roadmaps for all involved functions to improve the quality of inputs used for the sales forecast.
  • Support in the digitalization of the sales planning process with a planning tool solution and integration within the existing SALESFORCE landscape.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within sales and/or demand planning functions in the food, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Preferably in-depth experience in key account management, merchandise planning, or other sales-related functions.
  • Good understanding of the FMCG market.
  • Track record of success in large-scale FMCG organizations.
  • Ability to understand cross-functional collaboration and indirectly influence cross-functional teams.
  • Affinity towards processes and understanding their importance for businesses.
  • Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to detail and adapt the perspective based on the audience.
  • Willingness to share, collaborate, and work with colleagues in other functions and geographies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within sales and or demand planning functions in the food, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Preferably in-depth experience of Key Account Management, Merchandise planning or other sales related functions.
  • A good understanding of the FMCG market.
  • Track-record of success coming from previous experience in large-scale FMCG organizations.
  • Understand cross functional collaboration and how to indirectly exert influence on cross functional teams.
  • A definite affinity towards processes as well as an understanding of why they help businesses.
  • Capability of seeing between the big picture whilst still keeping a strong attention to detail – and switching the perspective based on your audience.
  • A willingness to share, collaborate and work with colleagues in other functions and geographies.
