About the position
Liquid Instruments is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team in Solana Beach, California. This role will be responsible for lead generation and qualification, engaging with prospects over phone and email, researching and identifying new customers, and supporting the sales team in various tasks such as creating sales collateral and prepping for sales calls. The Sales Development Representative will report to the Sales Development Manager and will have the opportunity to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for lead generation and qualification on behalf of the sales team
- Conduct intelligent and engaging conversations with prospects over the phone and email
- Research and identify new customers and their businesses
- Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account/application intelligence
- Assist and potentially lead in the creation, maintenance, and edits of sales collateral
- Support the sales team in prepping for sales calls, customizing presentations, and assisting with post-sales call follow-up materials
- Assist with trade shows and events, including researching and vetting potential opportunities, managing details such as set up and logistics, and reaching out to attendees on behalf of the sales team
- Diligently use the CRM to capture sales efforts and institutional knowledge
Requirements

- Skilled in engaging current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account/application intelligence

- Support the sales team in prepping for sales calls, customizing presentations, and assisting with post-sales call follow-up materials
