About the position
This job is focused on prospecting, educating, and qualifying leads to create sales opportunities for Podium. The role requires the ability to effectively communicate the Podium story, align solutions with prospect business objectives, and collaborate with sales representatives to schedule calls, meetings, and demos. The ideal candidate should proactively stay updated on industry trends and technology to be a trusted resource for prospects and customers. Additionally, the job involves making strategic outbound calls and emails, acquiring prospect data, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM. The goal is to achieve or exceed monthly quotas for qualified appointments/demos and closed deals. A 4-year degree in Business or a related field is preferred but not required, and sales experience along with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are desired qualities.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, educate & qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
- Master the ability to evangelize the Podium story
- Align Podium solutions with prospect business objectives & needs
- Collaborate with sales reps to schedule prospect calls, meetings and demos
- Proactively keep abreast of our industry and the technology landscape to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers
- Make strategic outbound calls & emails daily
- Acquire key prospect data from the initial conversation, from the web and other sources, and ensure clean and accurate data is entered and maintained in CRM
- Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified appointments/demos scheduled and deals closed
- 4-year degree preferred but not required in Business or related field
