About the position
The job overview for this role is that the Account Manager will be responsible for upselling, cross-selling, and building relationships with customers. They will also handle the implementation and onboarding of new customer accounts. The Account Manager should have a customer-centric mentality and a desire to close expansion revenue. Additionally, they should have experience in CX/CS and a deep understanding of the company's products and services.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the growth and adoption of small business accounts at Podium
- Uncover new opportunities from existing customers and target accounts
- Build deep relationships with portfolio customers to understand their needs and provide value-based solutions using Podium's products and services
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts
- Conduct warm handoffs in partnership with AE's as new customers join the portfolio
- Be a product expert and understand all setup requirements for each product and application to drive value
Requirements
- 1-3 years of CX/CS experience, with experience in closing revenue
- Deep understanding of the needs of small businesses
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Strong sales and revenue forecasting skills
- Knowledge of Podium's range of products and services
- Familiarity with setup requirements for each product and application
- Ability to uncover new opportunities from existing customers and target accounts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
