About the position
The Sales Development Representative role at Demandbase is a critical position that involves expanding the company's presence in the market and converting inbound prospects into sales opportunities. This individual contributor role reports to the Manager of Sales Development and plays a key part in the growth of the company as a pioneer and leader in the Account-Based GTM sector. The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the sales teams to ensure a seamless transition of opportunities and will be responsible for generating new business through various prospecting methods.
Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in expanding the company's presence in the market
- Convert inbound prospects into Demandbase Sales opportunities
- Help expand the footprint within existing customers
- Work closely with the direct and growth sales teams to ensure seamless transition of opportunities
- Measure success by opportunity generation
- Create a book of business
- Encourage account development through inbound and outbound prospecting, social selling, networking, attending trade shows and field marketing events, and any sales activity that would contribute to expanding the Demandbase brand
- Be the first line of contact for potential customers
Requirements
