About The Position

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a customer-focused Rental Agent to manage vehicle rentals and deliver a seamless, professional experience from reservation through vehicle return. The role calls for exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The Rental Agent maximizes sales and service opportunities, prepares rental agreements, maintains vehicle cleanliness, monitors vehicle inventory, and responds to customer inquiries. The position also supports other business needs as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to follow defined service and sales processes effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some Saturdays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Virginia driver's license required.

• Previous customer service or vehicle rental experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional rental experience by maximizing sales and service opportunities for every customer.
• Greet customers professionally and prepare rental agreements.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a seamless, positive experience.
• Meet or exceed established sales and service standards.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, including washing and vacuuming as needed.
• Monitor and manage vehicle inventory daily to ensure availability.
• Respond promptly and professionally to telephone and email inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
