Product Manager (Healthcare Payments & HSA/FSA)

WEXWEXUS•Remote, OH
•$89,800 - $120,400

About The Position

The Product Manager is a core execution role within WEX’s Health & Benefits digital organization, responsible for delivering and continuously improving healthcare payment products. These include HSA debit card rails, claims reimbursement and auto-adjudication flows, ACH/RTP money movement, real-time payment notifications, and spend authorization logic. The role connects product decisions to adoption, retention, revenue, cost-to-serve, and operational efficiency, and partners with engineering, compliance, finance, operations, and external payment vendors. The position owns end-to-end execution for payment features, participates in and facilitates Scrum ceremonies, and drives short-term delivery through rapid iteration and outcome data. It also leads payments-focused discovery, synthesizes customer insight and industry signals into testable hypotheses, and uses AI-enabled workflows for research, synthesis, analysis, and requirements drafting while retaining human accountability for decisions. The Product Manager uses qualitative and quantitative inputs—including payment and operational metrics—to prioritize work, make trade-offs, and communicate confidence, risk, and validation needs. The role also identifies friction in the member payment experience, participates in customer empathy and research sessions, and tests payment UX hypotheses. It requires working knowledge of healthcare payment ecosystems, payment compliance constraints, payment partners, claims workflows, and the impact of product choices on downstream operations and financial performance. Travel is listed as 5%, including 5% overnight travel.
