About The Position

Constrafor is seeking a Product Manager to lead its Credit & Payments pod, which builds financial products for subcontractors in its network. The pod is responsible for credit decisions, funding and servicing, platform money movement, and reporting to credit facilities. The role reports to the Chief Product Officer and works with a dedicated engineering team. The Product Manager will set the roadmap and determine what ships, with the mandate to develop Early Pay into a credit platform that continuously underwrites using Constrafor data, moves money with bank-quality controls, and supports origination of the company’s financial products.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of product experience, including at least 2 years in lending, payments, treasury, or fintech operations.
  • Ownership of an underwriting, servicing, collections, or money-movement workflow, including its controls.
  • Experience working with capital markets counterparties, bank partners, or regulators on data and reporting requirements.
  • Fluency with ledgers, reconciliation, and the accounting consequences of product decisions.
  • A track record of replacing manual operations with product, measured in hours saved or volume handled per person.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, including the ability to engage effectively with executives, credit leadership, and creditors.
  • An AI-native way of working, using agents to prototype, analyze data, write specifications, and build internal tools, with examples of work shipped this way.
  • Deep understanding of the operational and financial stakes of every release.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building with Stripe Treasury, Plaid, or similar money-movement and bank-data infrastructure.
  • Background in construction, B2B receivables finance, or another vertical fintech.
  • Experience shipping AI document extraction or decisioning into a regulated workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Build credit decisioning based on Cru’s live view of subcontractors’ businesses, refreshing decisions as that information changes and giving Sales, Credit, and Servicing a shared view from first contact through every draw.
  • Own money movement into and out of the platform, incorporating controls into every flow.
  • Monitor credit facilities and keep the ledger diligence-ready for capital partners.
  • Make Early Pay and future financial products available within the workflows subcontractors already use and using data Cru already holds.
  • Set the product roadmap and decide what ships, working with a dedicated engineering team and partnering with Credit, Finance, Capital Markets, and Sales.
  • Replace manual operations with product and measure impact in hours saved and volume handled per person.
  • Communicate clearly at all levels, from writing plans for the team to presenting to the CEO and credit leadership.

Benefits

  • Equity ownership within Constrafor.
  • Hybrid office schedule from the Hudson Yards office.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for the employee and dependents.
  • Generous PTO plan.
  • Lunch provided during in-office days.
  • Collaborative and innovative work culture that values employee input.
  • Opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing technology company.
