About The Position
The Teller provides exceptional service to a diverse audience and performs routine transactional, operational, and client-support tasks. The role works toward individual and banking-center sales and service goals, builds rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treats others with respect and consideration. Tellers may assist other departments as needed. This is an individual-contributor role with clear direction, established processes, and expectations. It calls for steady, accurate work that follows specific guidelines and policies, and provides support to others in a noncompetitive environment. The position is presented as an opportunity to build a career in finance, with training and coaching during onboarding and on the job, and potential opportunities for advancement as the associate demonstrates success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately.
- Ability to think logically, analyze situations, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work with multiple computer and software systems.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as cash back and percentages.
Nice To Haves
- Previous banking, cash-handling, or financial-services experience.
- At least 6 months of demonstrated successful cash-handling experience.
- Bilingual language skills.
- A passionate and motivated self-starter.
- Interest in educating clients on banking products and digital technologies.
