Paid Media Manager

Rogo•San Francisco, CA
•$115,000 - $150,000

About The Position

Rogo is seeking a hands-on Paid Media Manager to drive revenue through paid advertising and make data-informed decisions. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, the role plans, builds, and optimizes campaigns across Meta, Google Ads (Search, Display, and YouTube), and LinkedIn, and supports direct publisher buys, sponsored content, and content syndication. The manager owns both campaign execution and analysis, working directly in advertising platforms to diagnose performance and make changes, while coordinating agency support where appropriate. The role covers campaign targeting, bidding, budget pacing, retargeting, creative rotation, testing, and conversion analysis. It uses advertising-platform, website, and Salesforce data to evaluate lead quality, funnel conversion, pipeline, and revenue, and partners with Marketing Operations to validate tracking and reporting. The Paid Media Manager also evaluates publisher placements and sponsored distribution, coordinating with ABM and Lifecycle owners to connect engagement to appropriate follow-up.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally in B2B technology, financial services, or an agency serving similar clients.
  • Demonstrable experience driving pipeline and revenue through paid advertising, including specific examples of decisions made using performance data.
  • Direct campaign-building and optimization experience across Meta, Google Search, Display, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong analytical skills, including diagnosing performance, designing useful tests, and allocating spend based on results.
  • Experience evaluating downstream lead quality and commercial outcomes, rather than relying solely on clicks or cost per lead.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, conversion tracking, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience planning or supporting direct publisher buys, sponsored content, or content syndication.
  • Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B technology, financial services, or an agency serving similar clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta, Google Search, Google Display, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Manage audience targeting, exclusions, bidding, budget pacing, retargeting, and creative rotation.
  • Support scalable acquisition programs and account-targeted enterprise campaigns.
  • Coordinate agency work while maintaining visibility into campaign setup, spend, and results.
  • Build and report on structured tests across audiences, creative, messaging, offers, and landing pages.
  • Write ad copy and brief Content and Design partners on assets needed for effective testing.
  • Analyze the journey from impressions and clicks through qualified inquiry, opportunity, and revenue.
  • Recommend changes to conversion paths and follow-up when performance issues extend beyond the advertising platform.
  • Use platform, website, and Salesforce data to evaluate lead quality, funnel conversion, pipeline, and revenue outcomes.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to validate tracking, UTMs, conversion events, and reporting before launch.
  • Investigate discrepancies between platform-reported conversions and commercial outcomes.
  • Recommend where to increase, reduce, or stop spending, distinguishing evidence from assumptions.
  • Plan and manage publisher placements, sponsored content, and content-syndication programs.
  • Evaluate audience fit, inventory, pricing, delivery commitments, and follow-up requirements for direct buys and sponsored distribution.
  • Coordinate with ABM and Lifecycle owners so sponsored engagement connects to the appropriate next step.
