About The Position

Sock Club is hiring a Paid Media Manager to run its paid media program day to day, as well as the landing pages and conversion paths used by paid traffic. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, this role co-owns paid media strategy and owns execution across paid search, paid social, and shopping on Google, Microsoft Bing, LinkedIn, and Meta. The manager oversees budgets and pacing against efficiency and pipeline targets and improves conversion through landing page work and structured testing. The role spans both strategy and execution on a small marketing team. The position is based in Austin, Texas, with a hybrid schedule: in the office Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. It is full-time, has no direct reports, and offers a base salary of $90,000 to $120,000. Sock Club is a B2B custom sock company founded in 2012 and based in Austin, selling branded socks directly to businesses and through distributors and promotional-products partners.

Requirements

  • Hands-on expertise in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta, plus working proficiency in Microsoft (Bing) Ads.
  • Direct experience running Google Shopping and Performance Max, including product feed management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage paid budgets to ROAS, CAC, and CPL targets while improving downstream lead quality, such as MQL-to-SQL conversion and lead fit.
  • Experience implementing conversion tracking, including GA4 events and offline conversion imports from a CRM.
  • Experience building and maintaining spreadsheet-based spend-pacing and forecasting models, including seasonality assumptions and scenario levers.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to independently pull and analyze performance data in GA4 and a BI platform.
  • Direct experience with landing page optimization, conversion rate optimization, and A/B testing, including sample size and statistical significance.
  • Experience marketing a considered, multi-stage B2B purchase where lead quality matters more than raw volume.
  • Solid understanding of attribution in a multi-touch B2B funnel, including the distinction between in-platform conversions and CRM-verified outcomes and the potential for channel over- or under-crediting.
  • Fluency in reconciling data from GA4, the CRM, and ad platforms; identifying the appropriate source of truth and flagging discrepancies.
  • Proactive approach to identifying pacing, tracking, or performance problems and proposing fixes.
  • Ability to learn how buyers and distributors purchase and use that knowledge to shape targeting and messaging.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple campaigns, budgets, and pacing tasks and explain performance and tradeoffs clearly.
  • Uses AI regularly and effectively for research, analysis, copy, and reporting, while checking its output where appropriate.
  • Keeps current with platform changes in bidding, automation, policy, and measurement and recommends adaptations.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; equivalent hands-on experience is welcome.
