About the position

PosiGen is seeking an Outside Sales Representative, also known as a Residential Energy Specialist, to educate homeowners on the benefits of solar power and energy efficiency home upgrades. The focus of this role is to help customers save money while also contributing to environmental sustainability. The responsibilities include managing the sales process, generating leads through various methods, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with other departments for project success. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales skills, be highly persuasive, and have a flexible schedule. Prior sales experience or a college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
  • Build 'book of business' through door-to-door canvassing, generating referrals, cold calling, participating in community events, and more
  • Follow up on leads from the Inside Sales team
  • Help the homeowner to execute documents and provide the necessary information to maximize their savings by going solar
  • Provide a high level of customer service throughout the customer's lifecycle
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior sales experience OR college degree OR military experience required
  • Proven success in a lead generating, quota-driven sales position preferred
  • Proficient with complex computer programs
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
