About the position
Vimeo is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to lead a team of Sales Development Reps (SDRs) focused on driving qualified leads and pipeline growth for their Enterprise products. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the team meets their goals, providing guidance and instruction, overseeing sales pipeline growth, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and collaboration. The ideal candidate should have management experience, a background in sales development, strong communication skills, and the ability to track and forecast sales pipeline and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of quota-carrying SDRs to meet individual and team goals
- Provide guidance and instruction to ensure team members understand and execute their responsibilities
- Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with team members for progress evaluation and professional development discussions
- Oversee sales pipeline growth and identify potential blockers
- Empower team members and foster a culture of inclusivity and collaboration
- Hire and onboard new SDRs
- Define performance metrics for SDRs (e.g., call/email activity, response rates, leads generated, lead quality)
- Monitor activities and key performance metrics linked to lead qualification
- Deliver ongoing training on sales prospecting, email outreach, and calling
- Coach individual SDRs through call shadowing, role play, and performance reporting
Requirements
- 1+ years of management experience
- 3+ years in Sales Development
- Background in SS Sales organizations focused on SDR practices
- Experience in data analysis and understanding performance indicators
- Strong communicator, well versed in communication to individual sales team members
- Ability to track and forecast sales pipeline and revenue growth
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience using Salesforce to track sales activities
